About Daisy
Daisy is a sweet, 8-year-old long-haired dachshund looking for a patient and loving home. She moves through life with resilience; arthritis and her unique long-and-low build present some mobility challenges, and her front legs are notably shorter than her back legs, giving her stride a tucked appearance. Daisy’s care includes anti-inflammatory medication, laser therapy, acupuncture, and likely ongoing swim therapy to keep her comfortable. She’s on a weight loss journey and will eventually need a dental once she’s strong enough. Daisy is house trained and up to date on vaccinations. She gets along well with both dogs and cats, making her a good fit for multi-pet homes. Foster-to-adopt is available locally for the right home—she’ll be ready for adoption by late December or early January. Daisy brings a gentle loyalty that will reward a family ready to support her needs and enjoy her loving company. Click apply to start the adoption process.
