About Zorro
Zorro (which means 'the Fox' in Spanish) wears a black mask to hide his real identity when fighting evil. He fights with a sword and sometimes makes a sign like the letter 'Z' with it in the air or even on an enemy's shirt. Our sweet Zorro doesn’t wear a mask, and he’s never encountered a person that he doesn’t consider a friend! During a stay in foster Zorro was described as a loyal dog who loves his people, dismantling his toys, and sleeping close to his humans at night. He’s also a day trip favorite with a huge fan following both in and out of the shelter: “Zorro loves chicken nuggets! Another dog barked at him and he was super chill about it and didn't even care. So many people came up to him. He had tons of fun today and loved playing with toys.” “Zorro was easy to leash. With his age being estimated at just over 1 year old, he is a very mellow dog! He is a great walker and does not pull. He takes treats gently and was very friendly.” “We took Zorro and his kennelmate to a yard. Zorro was very easy to leash up and walked right beside me on his way to the yard. He loves treats. He is really still a puppy but is quite calm and gentle. He’s working on learning sit.” Zorro has shared his kennel politely and would like to meet any resident dogs before heading home to ensure a good fit. If you have a healthy chicken nugget budget, ask to meet Zorro today!!
