About Stella Fh

Lets make it official, apply to adopt! Meet Stella—a truly special French Bulldog searching for a gentle, understanding home that can cater to her unique medical needs. When Stella first arrived in rescue, she needed urgent veterinary care. The dedicated veterinary teams helped her recover from serious skin and ear issues with medications and therapy, and they also discovered she has Intervertebral Disc Disease (IVDD), a spinal condition that sometimes causes weakness in her back legs and makes her incontinent. Stella receives ongoing chiropractic and physical therapy, and requires daily meds, regular checkups, and close management of her skin and ears. Her adopter will need patience with occasional potty accidents, gentle limited activities (no stairs, no jumping or rough play), and a willingness to continue her specialized care. Despite these challenges, Stella’s spirit has never been broken. She is sweet, affectionate, gets along beautifully with other dogs and cats, and brightens every room with her gentle heart. Because she’s vocal, apartments or homes with shared walls are not suitable. She is best placed in a calm, child-free environment with someone home most of the day to meet her needs. If you’re familiar with special-needs pups or ready to learn, Stella promises to return your devotion in spades—with loyal, loving companionship for her next chapter. Could you be the hero she’s been waiting for? Stella can’t wait to meet the person who sees her for who she truly is, not just her diagnosis. What are you waiting for? Apply today!
