Stella is a small French Bulldog in Sanford, FL who has fought through significant medical challenges. She arrived needing urgent care for skin and ear issues, which are now controlled with daily medications, ongoing therapy, and close monitoring. Stella was also diagnosed with IVDD—a spinal condition affecting mobility—resulting in occasional hind leg weakness and incontinence. Regular chiropractic and physical therapy are part of her ongoing care. Stella is vocal and would not be a good fit for apartment living or homes with shared walls. Her ideal environment is calm, without stairs or small children, and with someone home most of the day, as her incontinence means she shouldn’t be left alone for long. Despite her challenges, Stella is remarkably sweet, affectionate, and enjoys the company of both people and other dogs.
