Starla is a spayed female Staffordshire Bull Terrier/mixed breed who is about five years and eight months old. She has a medium build with a unique coat of white, cream, and black. Starla is currently living in Washington, PA, and is up to date on her vaccinations. She doesn’t have special medical needs right now, but she is Lyme positive and takes doxycycline daily.

About Starla

Starla’s story is the kind that sticks with you. She was abandoned in an outdoor pen up in the Virginia mountains—no food, water, or even a roof overhead, just left behind while her family moved on. Thankfully, a neighbor stepped in to keep her alive. When rescued, Starla carried a huge mammary tumor, likely from years of backyard breeding. She had surgery shortly after arriving in March, and while the tumor looked scary, pathology was hopeful—it hadn't spread. She’s also Lyme positive, but handles her daily doxycycline without complaint. Now, Starla just wants to be close to people. She craves company and warmth more than anything. She’s shown friendly interest with other dogs so far, and doesn't react to cats. She’s compact, muscular, and her coat is a striking blend of white, cream, and black. At about five and a half, Starla is eager to start a peaceful chapter with someone who won’t let her down again. Ready to meet your new best friend? Apply now!
