About Charlie
Much like his namesake from Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, Charlie is setting off on his own adventureāthis time searching for a golden home instead of a golden ticket. Charlie spent several months in foster care, where he really came into his own. Heās fully house-trained, good on a leash, and happy to curl up quietly at the foot of the bed through the night. He gets real joy from squeaky toys and chew bones, and he loves romping around with his small dog buddy (heās a fan of larger dogs too). Of course, if youāre up for a lazy afternoon, heās perfectly content snoozing beside you. Charlie is generally a quiet, gentle soul. Meeting new people can be intimidating for him, but give him a few minutes and a couple of treats, and youāll see him turn into a loyal companion. Heād thrive with older kids who can give him time to settle in, and heād likely appreciate having a confident canine sibling to help show him the ropes. Everyone who spends time with him sees his potential, and this petite, sweet pup is ready for a home where he can truly blossom. They are waiting with paws crossed! Apply now!
