About Patches
Patches is a two-year-old Chihuahua mix with a sharp black and white cow print coat who came to the rescue with his brother, Leroy, after their elderly owners could no longer care for them. Both are used to lounging in fenced yards, running and tumbling with their foster siblings, and curling up on the couch for long naps or snuggle sessions. Patches is friendly with cats and is well house trained—using both outdoor potty breaks and pads. He’s getting used to toys and plays a mean game of tug. His leash skills still need some work, but he is gentle and well-behaved when the household is calm. Patches is not a fan of cages or crates, preferring the comfort of a gated room with something soft to curl up on. Both boys are described as affectionate and sweet, with a real love for sunny nap spots. Patches is looking for a home willing to adopt him as a bonded pair with Leroy, with patience and a gentle touch. Fun fact: Patches is an Aries, so don’t be surprised if he brings a little extra spirit to your life. Click apply to start the adoption process.
