About Wyatt

Wyatt came into rescue after he lost his owner and was found on the roadside. He's a 7-year-old, roughly 35-pound mix of Black Labrador Retriever and Corgi, living in Cincinnati, OH. Known for his love of food, Wyatt performs a goofy dance and barks in excitement at mealtime—his foster calls it his 'song and dance routine.' Despite loving his dinner, Wyatt's real favorite thing might be cuddling; he enjoys curling up on the couch or snuggling at bedtime. He's housebroken and crate trained, which makes daily routines easy. Wyatt can be a bit nervous with new people at first. After a little time, he opens up, becoming affectionate and submissive—he'll stretch out and wait for belly rubs. Outside, he doesn't pay much attention to other dogs but hasn't had close interactions, so his compatibility with dogs is still up in the air. Because of a strong prey drive, he isn’t suited for a home with cats. A fenced yard is required for adoption to keep him safe. Wyatt is ready to find a new person or family to snuggle up with.
