About Summer

Summer's adoption fee has been waived for July! Meet Summer, a survivor with a huge heart. She came to the rescue just hours before she was out of time, and it’s clear she's got plenty of love left to give. Summer weighs about 45 lbs—on the smaller side for her mix—and absolutely adores other dogs, especially the little ones. She’s friendly with cats and is fully house trained. Her foster notes that she’s a champion snuggler and takes her naps seriously, often with a bit of snoring. Summer can be a little shy around new faces, but if you approach her gently, she’ll open up and show you every bit of her loyal, gentle nature. Once she’s settled, her playful side comes through and she wants nothing more than to lounge on the couch or join in on an outing. She’s ready to make new dog friends and find her spot in a loving home where her true personality can shine. What are you waiting for? Apply today!
