Tala is a delightful Plott Hound mix puppy, just 9 weeks old and weighing 11 pounds. She’s expected to be a medium-sized dog when fully grown. Full of curiosity and sweetness, Tala loves to be around people and delights in playing with her toys, especially her littermate. She has a charming habit of putting her paws on your leg to ask to be picked up, and she adores belly rubs. Currently, she's working on her pad training and preparing for outdoor potty training. Tala is learning basic commands like "sit," "no," and "come." She sleeps through the night quietly in a puppy pen, and her foster mom is hopeful she'll transition smoothly to crate training. Tala will be ready for adoption on September 26th after being spayed, microchipped, and receiving her second round of vaccinations. A third and fourth set will be needed once she's adopted. Adopters must live within an hour’s drive of St. Louis, MO. Each adoption includes all necessary vaccinations, heartworm testing, and preventative care along with spay/neuter and microchip.
