About Butters
Click apply to start the adoption process. Butters is a gorgeous long-haired sweetheart looking for a loving home with an experienced cat owner who can offer plenty of patience. She is extremely shy at first, tending to hide under beds or dressers when introduced to new environments or people, but with gentle encouragement, she adjusts and blossoms into a devoted lap cat. Once she feels safe, Butters reveals her playful side, even delighting in a game of fetch! Originally a very shy kitten, Butters was adopted by her first foster mom, but has since returned to the rescue due to changing circumstances, and now eagerly awaits a person who can truly appreciate her unique personality. She has previously lived with young children and a rowdy dog, and in her foster home, she comfortably interacts with both cats and well-trained, large dogs. Butters is ready to bring her special blend of devotion and playfulness to a patient adopter who will give her the time and kindness she deserves. A fun fact: Butters is a Taurus, which is known for loyalty and a love of cozy naps—traits she certainly lives up to! Every animal deserves a happy ending. This one starts with you.
