Cowboy found his way to rescue after life in a growing outdoor cat colony in northwest Oklahoma City. He comes from a litter of three brothers, saved thanks to a thoughtful neighborhood resident and the help of rescue volunteers. His long, tuxedo-patterned coat catches the eye, and there's a certain stateliness about how he carries himself—even as he prefers to keep some distance at first. Cowboy lets his purr do the talking once he’s comfortable, but he still warms up slowly to new faces.
