About Hip Hop

Hip Hop, also known affectionately as Chestnut & Brownie Boy, is brimming with personality and sweetness. At just over a year old, he has really found his stride in his foster home. Completely house trained and crate trained, Hip Hop adjusts well to free roam at night or when left alone with his canine foster sibling. He’s highly food- and treat-motivated, which makes training a breeze, though he is still learning the ropes on leash manners. Expect some enthusiastic pulling while he figures things out. He’s a champion squeaker-hunter—give him a squeaky or chew toy, or even an antler while you’re busy, and he’ll keep himself entertained. Playful, energetic, and a little goofy in the backyard, Hip Hop adores playing tug-of-war and wrestling matches with another dog. He’d thrive with a playful puppy friend who can keep up with his high-energy games. Although he can be reserved with strangers at first, his playful and affectionate nature quickly emerges once he relaxes. After a day packed with running and wrestling, he’s all about couch snuggles, especially during Disney movies. Bonus: he’s a pretty adorable snorer. If bedtime calls for being tucked in beneath a blanket, Hip Hop won’t argue, especially on cool evenings. This silly, loving boy is all heart—and a near-perfect companion for a family ready for a large, playful teen with growing manners. Click apply and let the tail-wagging begin!
