Meet Zeke A Special Boy Looking for His Special Someone Zeke is a 5-year-old Labrador Retriever/Great Dane mix, weighing about 65 lbs. With his tall, handsome frame and playful spirit, Zeke is ready to find a home that understands him and will give him the patience and care he deserves. His training is going marvelous! He is now playing with other dogs and has become best friends wirh Bagel He is still working in not marking but wears a male wrap. He is kennel trained He is walking well on a leash He is doing great when ear meds are applied He has not had any ill reactions to men or others he has met. He is making amazing progress in Board and Train with Kailee Shimada Pothier and needs a foster or adopter by Friday 9/12. Zeke enjoys lifes simple pleasureslong walks, lounging in the sunshine, and chasing after a ball (though he usually thinks its a one-way game!. His love of treats makes him eager to learn commands like sit, stay, and shake. Hes shown curiosity about the resident cat in his foster home, but the cat keeps him at a respectful distance. Zeke will require lifelong ear medication due to untreated infections earlier in his life, but with consistent care, his ears can stay healthy and comfortable. Zeke would do best in a calm home with adopters who are dog-savvy and willing to continue working on his training. He will make a loyal and fun companion for the right person. *Fenced yard required*
