About Wynona
They are waiting with paws crossed! Apply now! Don't overlook this dark-haired beauty—she will impress you with her intelligence and loyal nature. Wynona, sometimes affectionately called Miss Wynona, Nona, or Nonsies, seeks a forever companion who’s up for lifetime adventures. Over her 2.5 years, she’s trekked mountains and camped in forests, thriving on exploration and the simple joys of sunbathing and playing in the yard. She loves to find treasures on walks, and finds playtime with bugs and bones endlessly fascinating. Wynona is deeply devoted—wherever you are, she wants to be. She’s the perfect cuddle buddy, ready to comfort you after a tough day and eager for interactive games like tug-of-war. Thanks to her early days growing up on a farm, she appreciates calm settings and would do best with a patient and confident adopter to help her adjust to city sights and sounds. Her background includes 1.5 years of professional training—she knows all the basic commands and has excellent recall most of the time. Wynona sleeps comfortably in her kennel at night but is always ready to share snuggles if you prefer. Though she gets along well with male and small dogs (if introduced properly), she can be selective with female dogs and feels most comfortable with older children due to her sensitivity around high energy or sudden movements. Cats are an unknown for her, but she’s never lived with them amicably. If you are looking for a zen, loyal companion to adventure and relax with, Wynona could be the perfect match. As a fun fact, Wynona is a Gemini—Geminis are known for their intelligence and playful spirit! What are you waiting for? Apply today!
