Holly was dumped the day before Thanksgiving alongside what we believe is her daughter. When she first came to us, she was very unsure and guarded — and not long after, we discovered why: Holly was pregnant. Three weeks after arriving in rescue, Holly gave birth to five puppies. Sadly, only two survived. It’s clear this sweet girl spent much of her life having litter after litter, and her body tells that story all too well. Despite everything she’s been through, Holly is an incredibly sweet older lady who absolutely loves affection. One of her favorite things to do is gently give you her paw to ask for pets 🥹 Holly gets along wonderfully with her daughter and can be adopted together or separately. However, she would do best as the only pet otherwise, as she does not do well with other dogs or cats. After a lifetime of being used and discarded, Holly deserves a calm, loving home where she can finally rest, feel safe, and be cherished the way she always should have been. 🤍
