But Scrappy hasn't let it break his spirit. He still trusts, loves, and simply wants to build good memories. Bow-legged and with perpetually indecisive ears, Scrappy finds joy in toys and good company. He loves to play with other dogs but, due to old injuries, shouldn’t have rough canine wrestle matches. Playful dogs are great; rowdy or overly physical playmates aren’t the best fit. He’s also a great choice for an only-dog household—he’ll soak up all your attention and then some. After playtime, he happily settles down into snuggle mode. Scrappy is house trained, crate trained, and knows how to carry himself around the house—all the basics of a great sidekick. He’s neutered, microchipped, up-to-date on vaccinations, and receives regular flea, tick, and heartworm prevention.
