Tank is a 3-year-old neutered male Pit Bull Terrier mix living in Chuckey, TN. His short, bicolor coat gives him a classic look, and he weighs about 65 lbs. Tank is house trained, fully vaccinated, and has received all essential vet care. He thrives on play, cuddles, and attention, and would do best with an adopter who can give him the space and patience he needs to adjust—plus, he must be adopted with his sister, Dixie.

About Tank

Tank landed at Animal Control with his sister, Dixie, after their previous owner lost their home. The team knew Tank and Dixie needed a soft spot, so they reached out to a rescue that loves pittie mixes. After a good scrub, a vet check, and some much-needed affection, Tank started to come into his own. Staff and visitors alike quickly fell for his big personality. Tank is social with people—he loves to play, snuggle, and is always up for treats. He’s a fan of Purina ProPlan and is up to date on his vaccines, including monthly Simparica Trio. While he’s still working on feeling comfortable with other dogs, he’s making progress. Tank and Dixie are a package deal—they need to be adopted together and won’t be separated. They’ll do best with a patient owner who can give them the time to settle in and a large fenced yard where they can run and play safely. Ready to fall in love? Hit apply and lets get started.
