About Dixie
Dixie ended up at Animal Control confused and scared, but after some TLC and time with her brother Tank, her real self came out. She's an affectionate, big-hearted Pittie mix who’s bonded closely with staff and made friends with both rescue regulars and new faces. Dixie’s a true cuddle bug—she loves snuggling just as much as tearing around the yard or playing with her people. She's fully vetted, up to date on vaccinations, currently eating Purina ProPlan, and completely house trained with a short, easy-to-maintain tricolor coat. There’s a non-negotiable: Dixie must be adopted with her brother Tank. Together, they’ll need a large fenced area where they can play safely and stretch their legs. Their next family should be ready for all the joy and connection that come with a bonded pair. If you’re looking for a duo to bring energy and warmth to your home, Dixie and Tank are ready to meet you. What are you waiting for? Apply today!
