About Taka
Taka is one of 15 dogs recently rescued from a neglect situation in Greene County. Animal Control brought him in, and now he’s looking for a real home where he can finally settle in. This guy has plenty of energy to burn and approaches life full throttle. At about a year and a half old, Taka’s right in that sweet spot for learning and building new routines. He’s a medium-sized German Shepherd mix, neutered, vaccinated, and house trained. Taka has a good foundation but still needs an adopter ready to continue his training and structure. He’d thrive with a big fenced yard and would do well with other dogs to play with. Right now, Taka eats Purina ProPlan Adult and is used to having regular canine company. With the right family, he’s ready to put his tough past behind him and enjoy the good stuff. He’s a Scorpio, so don’t be surprised if he’s determined and outgoing.
