About Francis

Francis is a 1.5-year-old Belgian Malinois mix with a unique story. After being rescued from an abandoned house, she battled a serious neurological infection. Thanks to attentive foster care, Francis made a remarkable recovery—she’s walking and running again, even if her gait is now rather unusual. People often say she moves like a giant rabbit, which seems to suit her fun energy. Francis gets along well with dogs but does not get along with cats or children. She’s house trained and has a medium-length yellow, tan, and black coat. Francis could use an adopter who understands she’s a survivor and has a special way of getting around.
