The family had dogs, but took the kittens in and had them spayed. This certainly prevented them from getting pregnant and adding to the cat overpopulation problem. The sisters were very sweet with the couple who took them in, but they were terrified of the family's dogs. The couple is downsizing to a much smaller condo now, so they felt the cats needed a new home since they wouldn't be able to avoid the dogs at the new place. They both love to play, especially with the fishing pole toys.
