About Tiffany
WOW! The door that just opened for this pup!! Where should we start with Tiffany....... Tiffany was so fearful - all she would do is shake, hide in a crate, freeze not want to walk on a leash and when she would walk - would try to dart into the smallest crevice, bush or theunder something she clearly was not going to fit in or under. Though, through the first few days - it was VERY apparent Tiffany was not aggressive in any way. Just a few days of connecting and proper handling and confidence building she was walking more freely on a leash without so much reactiveness. And within a week she was able to walk on a leash on a busy street. She wasn't digging it and when rest periods were performed she would shake while observing her surroundings. Long exposed sitting sessions were completed to allow her safe exposure and time to absorb. Soon Tiffany was comfortable walking and actually semi enjoying them. She no longer tried to flea approaching people or people with their pets (pets being walked for some reason struck total fear in her and she wanted to race back to her safe place.) Fast forward to current, Tiffany is a 360 dog. She is full of life, she is jovial and acts like a huge puppy with her new found love of life. Now, management is more controlling her forward strength during leash management activities and dodging the paw plants to your chest now when she is on the moon with excitement that you are interacting with her! She is very playful and engaging now and along with that she has found her voice to commend demands. :) She also used to growl at other dogs at kennel fronts, but now she gets in play stance and her tail is going a thousand miles per hour. Other dogs have approached her while she is leashed with no incidents. Tiffany has also learned the "sit" command in part of her transition. She has a way to go but we haven't pressured for much more as she comes out of her past trauma. She does have an obvious fear and high anxiety when around men working with tools, cars, vacuums, etc. She could be destructive in knocking someone or something over to get away from these type of occurrence. Other than those particular type of incidents she has become a very large, happy puppy. With her new found personality - Tiffany's forever home or Foster to Adopt home will need to be an experienced home with large breeds, not for aggression or unfavorable behavior - but merely for continued training due to her strength and new found fun, loving energy to keep everyone and everything safe during zoomies and such. She will need some deep training in finess and make her aware of her size and weight and proper ettiquett with meek humans :). She really is a sweet girl who now loves to share kisses with you, paw for attention and engage with fun exchanges with her human now. She is a smart cookie and can really be sculpted into so much more - if you are the human(s) we are looking for - please DON'T hesistate to contact us to keep her moving forward to a much bigger world she never knew existed. A home with strong fencing will be required as well as large breed experience. We see her in the right hands becoming a dog that can be taken even to off leash beaches etc after proper connection and training is successful for confidence and recall. All adoptions are processed as Foster to Adopt to give time for Rescue to evaluate if applicant(s) and the rescue dog are appropriate matched after a period of time of acclimation has appropriately been applied or experienced before life commitments are made TEXT FOR FASTER RESPONSE to inquiries: 323-558-8094 Email:paradeofpawsrescue@gmail.com For more pictures and videos please follow us on IG: @paradeofpawsdogrescue Ask us about our GREAT out of town adoption process!
