About Peppermint Patty
Peppermint Patty has a heart as big as her smile! This gentle girl has been through a lot, but she’s come out the other side stronger, happier, and ready to share her golden years with someone special. Patty has overcome some major health challenges, including two major surgeries to remove several mammary (benign) tumors. Thanks to great veterinary care and lots of love, Patty is now healthy, pain-free, and full of life! Patty adores people of all ages! She’s a loyal girl that will follow her favorite humans from room to room. She just wants to be part of whatever is happening! True to her name, Peppermint Patty is sweet and has a little spice too! She’s the perfect combination of gentle sweetness and playful energy. Patty would do best as the only dog in the home, and she’s happiest when she’s the star of the show: following you around, keeping you company, and basking in your attention without any competition. Her favorite things in life are simple: your company, gentle pets, and (of course) a steady supply of snacks. If you’re looking for a gentle, affectionate, and resilient companion who will make every day brighter, Patty is waiting to meet you. PATTY’S MEDICAL STORY: Patty was found as a stray in California with a very large mass on her underside. PNWCDR committed to giving her the veterinary care she desperately needed, and she was promptly transported to Oregon. During the initial surgery to remove the large benign tumor, it was discovered that she had even more masses on her side... so another surgery was needed. She also received some necessary dental work to make her smile even brighter!
