About Mayor
Click apply to start the adoption process. Mayor’s story is quite unique and heartwarming. Once a streetwise survivor, this lovable orange tabby with a short coat is now searching for someone to give him all the affection he craves. Mayor is likely to get along with other cats and cat-friendly dogs, so he would fit well into a home with other pets. He came indoors after hopping into a rescue truck, bravely seeking help after years outdoors—what a character! Following the removal of a large polyp from his airway, Mayor is now thriving and in excellent health. Mayor is FIV positive, which means he requires simple yearly checkups, but no specialized care or medications are needed. FIV cats can live long, healthy lives and may live alongside FIV-negative kitties. To keep him safe and help prevent the spread of FIV, Mayor should remain indoors. He’s up to date on his vaccines, has been neutered, microchipped, dewormed, and tested negative for feline leukemia. He is currently in foster care through Passport Animal Rescue, a wonderful organization supported by dedicated volunteers. Approved applications are required to set up meets and respect foster families’ privacy. They are ready to love you; are you ready to apply?
