About Rambo

Make their next chapter their best one yet. Rambo is a superb cat with a big personality and a story of resilience. After escaping euthanasia at a local shelter, he joined his foster family and is now thriving. Rambo has a permanent head tilt due to some issues deep in his ear, but currently, veterinarians recommend leaving it as is. If you would like more details, just ask—he’s a special guy! This big, brown tabby gets along with his foster brother and isn’t shy about letting you know when he wants attention. He loves to rub against your legs and perch on your foot like a loyal dog. Rambo has great eating habits and is excellent with his litter box. He is positive for Feline Immunodeficiency Virus (FIV), but this doesn’t slow him down. With good care, FIV-positive cats can live long, healthy lives, and the virus isn’t contagious to people or dogs. With proper introductions, FIV-positive and negative cats can also safely coexist—no specialized medication or special care needed. Rambo is up to date on vaccines, has been tested for FeLV and FIV, and is microchipped. All adopters are required to be approved before meeting a foster pet, to respect volunteers’ privacy.
