About Ella

Ella is a remarkable three-year-old dog with a story that showcases her resilience. At just eight months old, she faced a traumatic incident when she was hit by a car. Thanks to emergency surgery we provided when her owners didn’t show up for her, she’s now a healthy, spirited pup who weighs 65 pounds. Now, Ella is all about enjoying life! She loves leapfrog at the dog park, refreshing swims, and, of course, playing fetch—her favorite game. This playful lady is always ready to chase a ball and adores human companionship, whether it's a fun car ride or a tractor adventure with her foster dad. Ella would shine brightest as the only pet in her forever home. While she is affectionate and enjoys cuddling, she tends to overlook her size, so a home with older kids who can match her energy would be ideal. A fenced yard is a must, giving her space to run and play. Having undergone training with Paul Deschamp at Wild Harbor Canine, Ella is truly a diamond in the rough, ready for the right family to bring out her best.
