About Woody
Click apply and let the tail-wagging begin! Woody and his sister Jessie arrived at the sanctuary as tiny seven-week-old kittens in need of urgent care. Both had their eyes completely matted shut and struggled to breathe, but thanks to dedicated medical treatment and constant love, Woody pulled through weeks of tough times to get a second chance. While Jessie's eye healed with a scar, Woody's left eye never fully opened—his third eyelid covered most of it. After extensive treatment, neutering, and successful eye repair, Woody is now able to see out of both eyes. His left eye will always be smaller and may need attention over time, but he is doing wonderfully. Now a healthy, robust six-month-old, Woody is already weighing in at 9.5 pounds—double the size of his siblings! He’s energetic and playful, turning everything (from ties to fingers wiggling under blankets) into a game, so frequent nail trims and gentle redirection are recommended when his playstyle gets a bit too boisterous. Woody’s affectionate nature shines through; he often flips over for belly rubs and quickly switches gears from play to purrs and cuddles. He gets along well with children and dogs, and is just waiting for the purrfect loving home. Did you know Woody, born May 8, is a Taurus? Tauruses are loyal, loving, and adore comfort, just like Woody! They are waiting with paws crossed! Apply now!
