Uma Purrman is a sweet but shy little girl. She has been at the Sanctuary since she was a small kitten. She is slow to trust people and would not even accept petting until last year. In fact, her original veterinary assessment warns that she "will bite" Uma has not bitten anyone in many years. We expect it was just a fear response. Uma will require the right people to let her come around in her own time. She may prefer to judge you from afar for a while before warming up to you.
