Transferred to Our Farm Sanctuary in March 2021, Sis arrived with a label that would make most cats shy away from any chance of love—a positive test for feline leukemia (FELV). But, oh darling, things took a delightful turn! This charming creature was once known for her feisty spirit, with a note indicating she had bitten three people at her previous rescue. But do not fret! Since then, Sis has transformed into a gentle soul who craves cuddles and companionship. 🥰 After spending time in our leukemia space for over 3.5 wonderful years, Sis passed all her health checks with flying colors. Can you believe it? She never had even a sniffle! 🤧 So, we decided to retest her and—drumroll, please!—Sis came back negative! That’s right, folks! In a shocking twist, the tests indicated that there were no traces of that nasty virus in her system. 🎉 Now, here’s where it gets interesting! While she continues to bask in the love of our staff, Sis is still in need of a true furever home where she can be the only queen of the castle. 🏰 Of course, vet visits will need to be a part of her new human's plan, along with annual retests to keep things on track.
