About Rico And Halo
Rico and Halo are a bonded pair who need to be adopted together—they're true companions. Rico is about two years old, neutered, up to date on vaccinations, and has a real knack for frisbee and ball fetch. He’s a quick learner, enjoys car rides, and uses a doggy door with no trouble. Meeting other dogs can make Rico a bit grumbly at first, but once familiar, he’s happy to play. He and Halo matched instantly in their foster home, and their playful, rough-and-tumble style keeps them busy and content. Occasional squabbles over toys resolve quickly since there are plenty to go around. Halo appears to have some Boston Terrier looks but is heavier, standing just over 15 inches tall and weighing 70 lbs. She’s spayed, has completed heartworm treatment, and needs to stay on preventative year-round. Halo arrived in rough shape but has healed well—she now delights in belly rubs and is enthusiastic about toys and balls, particularly squeaky Kong toys. Halo can get excited around treats and tends to investigate anything new you’re carrying. Like Rico, she uses a doggy door and prefers durable toys. Both dogs need a home with no other pets or small children and require a fenced yard for safe play. Their adopters should be ready for ample daily exercise and have the patience and awareness to manage two energetic dogs. Let’s make it official, apply to adopt!
