Hank
AvailableHank is a Shar-Pei/Pit Bull Terrier mix with a striking yellow-tan coat, large build, and over 10 years behind him. He is neutered, house trained, and up to date on his vaccinations. Living in Manchester, CT, Hank has proven himself reliable with both dogs and cats and is happiest with adults or older children. He has a gentle, affectionate demeanor and strong training foundations—all that’s missing is his new family.
About Hank
Hank’s got a Shar Pei face that makes a real first impression—broad snout, soft cheeks, Dorito-shaped ears that bounce with every step. Beneath that look, he’s a 60-pound, lean, fit dog who lights up for long walks, hiking trips, car rides, and his stash of plush toys. Hank’s proud of graduating from dog training classes, snatching honors at our Cooperative Care Specialty Class, and knowing his basics. He’s neutered, microchipped, and fully vaccinated, so he’s set for a new home. At 10 years old, Hank’s past his puppy mayhem days but still enjoys life in an adult home or one with older children (12+). He’s not into rowdy playgroups but could do well with a calm, mature dog sibling, and even passed his cat test—so a respectful cat should be fine, too. Hank leans in for affection, steady and trusting. He’s house trained, loves to hang out close to his people, and craves someone steady by his side. As a fun fact, Hank’s birthday makes him a Taurus—no wonder he’s loyal and easy to love. Click apply and let the tail-wagging begin!
