About Nutmeg
Nutmeg has spent four years learning that people can be safe. Once a feral kitten, he’s come a long way—his trust is hard-won but deeply rewarding. There’s a quiet calm to Nutmeg’s presence; he enjoys scratches, a treat, a slow game, or the simple peace of relaxing nearby. He still shows some shyness, especially in new spaces, and thrives in a home that runs quiet and calm. He gets along well with other cats and appreciates gentle company, but dogs and young kids are too overwhelming for him. Nutmeg is neutered, fully vetted, and microchipped. His gentle nature and patient progress impress everyone who meets him. If you can offer patience and steady kindness, Nutmeg will show you how joyful a quietly affectionate cat can be. Nutmeg’s sister, Joy, is also at the rescue—both cats share a history but aren’t a bonded pair. In a peaceful home, Nutmeg is ready to continue growing at his pace and show someone just how loving a companion he can be. Your new best friend is just one click away.
