About Shadow
Don't let Shadow's name fool you—he’s anything but invisible once he gets comfortable. At about 7 months old, this small black “mini-panther” blends bursts of wild kitten energy with a gentle, affectionate touch. Shadow usually starts out reserved, especially in new settings or around new people, but patience pays off: he soon reveals his sweeter side, showing he wants nothing more than to play and bond with someone he trusts. Shadow is closely attached to his mama, Lia, and his sibling, Banksy. He’s still figuring out other cat relationships, so a home that respects his deep family ties or understands bonded pets will be ideal. This little panther will thrive with an adopter who gives him the time and space to grow brave at his own pace—patience and a bit of understanding will bring out his most loyal, loving companion side. Shadow gets along with other cats and is house trained, making him ready to settle in and start his next adventure in East Orange, NJ. Click apply to start the adoption process.
