About Bolt
What are you waiting for? Apply today! Bolt’s journey has been nothing short of remarkable. Found as a starving puppy on the streets of Amman, Jordan, Bolt endured severe hardship and abuse, leaving him barely able to open his mouth due to a serious injury. With the compassion of a kind rescuer named Ahmad, Bolt received crucial care—though his first surgery was unsuccessful. Determined to give Bolt a better life, Ahmad made the incredible decision to send him all the way to a special needs rescue in Wisconsin. Though the journey to the United States was long and stressful for Bolt, in time he was able to heal and undergo corrective surgery by a skilled veterinary surgeon. Today, Bolt can finally do all the things a happy dog should—chewing, barking, panting, and more—with only a charming little tilt to his face as a reminder of his past. His resilience and gentle spirit shine through, and he quickly wins hearts with his sweet, laid-back personality and love for greeting everyone with a friendly “shake.” Bolt is now healthy, house trained, and enjoys quiet companionship. He dreams of a forever home with someone who has time for him—ideally, a person or family who works from home, is retired, or has a flexible schedule, so Bolt won't be left alone for long stretches. Matching the perfect adopter is important, so serious inquiries are encouraged. Lets make it official, apply to adopt!
