Bolt
AvailableBolt is a medium-sized, adult, neutered male Labrador Retriever mix currently in Columbus, WI. His vaccinations are up to date and he is house trained. Despite an incredibly difficult start in life, Bolt no longer has special needs and lives happily post-surgery. He’s known for being gentle, affectionate, and enjoys a serene and loyal bond with people.
About Bolt
Bolt’s story began on the streets of Amman, Jordan, where hardship and neglect almost ended his life before it truly began. Back then, a severe jaw injury left him unable to eat, bark, or even open his mouth like a normal dog. Thanks to the compassion of his rescuer, Ahmad, and an eventual journey halfway around the world, Bolt finally reached One Starfish Rehoming Connections in Wisconsin. There, a skilled surgeon gave him back a pain-free life. His face is still a little bit off-center, but it adds to his charm and doesn’t slow him down. Now, Bolt’s favorite thing is greeting everyone and calmly asking for a handshake. He remains a laid-back, sweet soul who takes new beginnings in stride. He’d thrive in a home where someone is often present—remote work, retirement, or part-time schedules fit Bolt’s easygoing nature best. After all he’s been through, Bolt deserves someone who values gentle companionship as much as he does. If you’re looking for a quiet, loyal friend ready for life’s next chapter, Bolt might be your match. Ready to meet your new best friend? Apply now!
