Grace has lived through more than most dogs her age. She was abandoned in rural Louisiana with her litter of puppies, and despite being alone, she protected and cared for them until rescue came. Even after reaching a crowded shelter, her odds weren’t great—until the whole family was pulled to safety. Grace faced heartworm treatment next and made it through without complaint. In her foster home now, she's showing just how good a dog can be. Grace is gentle, calm, and unfailingly sweet. She is house trained, crate trained, and gets along well with dogs and children (her closest friend is a two-year-old toddler). Indoor manners are excellent.
