About Peppa
Start your journey together! Apply now. Peppa is a darling mama with a gentle soul, estimated to be around 2 years old and weighing approximately 40 lbs. Her sweet and shy personality shines brightest when she's around another family dog; their presence helps her come out of her shell and truly enjoy playtime. Peppa absolutely loves her toys—especially squeaky ones—and carries them around everywhere. Although initially timid, she quickly bonds and will lovingly follow you like a loyal shadow. She is crate trained and finds great comfort in being near her family, quietly retreating to her crate at bedtime without a sound. Peppa can get a bit anxious when left alone but settles down over time, especially if she has another dog close by for companionship. Her foster mom reports that Peppa handles alone time much better with a midday visit from a dog walker and another pup in the house. Peppa is wonderfully respectful, attentive, sits on command, takes treats gently, and is both house and potty trained. She walks well on leash but sometimes needs a little reassurance when feeling unsure. She thrives in a calm environment and would prefer a quieter household, ideally with older and respectful children, as she is still working on building her confidence. Peppa is spayed, up to date on all vaccines and prevention, and ready for a loving family willing to give her the patience and affection she deserves—she’ll return it many times over. Every animal deserves a happy ending. This one starts with you.
