About Theodore
Every animal deserves a happy ending. This one starts with you. Meet Theodore, a handsome and gentle tabby who is learning what it means to truly trust and love. At around three years old, Theodore—or "Theo" as he's affectionately called—arrived after living a tough life outdoors with his mother and siblings. Those early days didn’t offer much safety or kindness, but Theodore’s world started to change when he joined the Socialization Program. Through calm patience, gentle affection, and the lure of tasty treats, Theodore has begun to blossom. He’s gradually opening up, showing more of his affectionate side, and discovering the joys of being cared for. He’s proven himself to be wonderful with other cats and children, making him a great match for a loving, patient family ready to continue his journey toward confidence. He is currently waiting at the Humane Society of Allen County in Lima, OH, for the special family who will help him fully bloom. Fun fact: with a birthday of August 16, Theodore is a Leo—a sign known for its warmth and gentle heart! Let Theodore show you how love and patience can transform a life.
