About Callista
Make their next chapter their best one yet. Callista’s story is a beautiful journey of resilience and hope. First rescued from a TNR colony in Jessup in 2021, Callista had just given birth to four kittens. After her kittens were weaned, she found a home, but years later, she was discovered in a Long Island hoarding situation. Thanks to a caring local shelter, Callista was brought back to her rescue family and now thrives in a foster home. She is a gentle and dignified cat, taking her time to build trust—so her ideal adopter will offer patience and understanding. Once she feels at ease, Callista welcomes affection on her own terms and becomes a loyal, low-maintenance companion. She has always lived with other cats and would do best in a home with at least one feline friend. If you provide kindness, patience, and a warm home, Callista will reward you with tranquil companionship and a calming presence. Lets make it official, apply to adopt!
