Cookie
AvailableCookie is a spayed female calico/domestic shorthair who is about 15 years old and lives at our Germansville, PA shelter. With her short calico coat and gentle senior presence, she's up to date on vaccinations and is house trained. Cookie is considered special needs due to her daily thyroid medication and fluoxetine, so she will thrive with an adopter prepared to give her consistent vet care.
About Cookie
Cookie is deeply affectionate with people and values every bit of attention she gets, but she’s not comfortable sharing her space with other cats. After her family could no longer keep her, Cookie found herself in a shelter—a tough adjustment for a cat who prefers to be the only feline around. At 15 years old, she’s a senior with experience and personality to spare. Cookie is considered special needs and takes daily thyroid medication along with fluoxetine. Her adopter will need to stay proactive about her ongoing veterinary care, but she’s easy to medicate and handles her routine well. She’s already spayed, fully vaccinated, tested negative for FIV/FeLV, and had a recent dental, so most of her major wellness issues are managed. Cookie is house trained and does best in a quiet, cat-free home where her calm nature and gentle ways can shine. What are you waiting for? Apply today!
