Heāll excel if his mind and body are put to workāthink agility, herding, or advanced obedience. Heāll let you know whatās on his mind, Aussie-style, with a whine here and there, and has even taught himself to open doors. Lock the treats up tight. While he hasnāt lived with kids, heās fascinated watching them play. Ranger gets along with other dogs when introduced correctly, but heās leash reactive and needs confident, positive training to manage that. He doesnāt get along with cats, so a feline-free home is a must. Ranger is not your typical lounge-around companion.
