About Layla

Ready to meet your new best friend? Apply now! Meet Layla! She is believed to be a shepherd and rottweiler mix, approximately a year old, and was found wandering alone before being rescued by animal control. Initially, she was extremely frightened, spending her days curled up and shaking in the corner, but with time in a loving foster home, she slowly began to show her true gentle nature. Layla gets along beautifully with every dog in her foster home and is quite laid back—she prefers to take things at her own pace and isn’t overly playful. She’s currently working on housebreaking and has made wonderful progress, especially with the nice weather. While still shy around a lot of commotion and prone to laying down when startled, Layla is learning each day that the world needn’t be so scary with the help of her patient foster mom. Layla is now spayed, microchipped, and up to date on her vaccinations. She is ready to find her forever family—someone who can provide the reassurance and gentle environment she needs to fully blossom. Lets make it official, apply to adopt!
