About Kj
Every animal deserves a happy ending. This one starts with you. Meet Kj, a gentle and quiet shepherd/corgi mix who's searching for a peaceful place to call his own. Just over a year old, this medium-sized sweetheart has a subtle tan coat and a unique blend of looks and personality. Kj grew up with his family outdoors, so he's still building trust with people, but he's making steady progress with patience and understanding. While Kj may not be the life of the party, he flourishes around other dogs and truly enjoys their company. He quietly shadows his foster mom throughout the day and occasionally comes over for a gentle check-in on his own terms. Kj’s favorite time is curling up by his foster mom’s side at night, finding comfort and security till morning arrives. Leash walks are a pleasure once Kj is safely clipped up—an easy process if you let him settle in his crate first. He's kennel trained and finds comfort in his crate, especially when overwhelmed. Kj is also fully housebroken, given a consistent routine. For his safety, a securely fenced yard of at least 6 feet is essential, as he’s quite the jumper. Kj needs a calm, adult-only household without young children, where the atmosphere is structured and patient. He is neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped, and ready for someone who understands that progress takes time and trust is earned—offering in return a companion worth every ounce of patience. Noah's Hope Animal Rescue is caring for him now. Make their next chapter their best one yet.
