About Wheezy
They are waiting with paws crossed! Apply now! At 9 years old and weighing around 16 lbs., Wheezy is a sweet Corgi/Chihuahua mix who was surrendered when her previous owner could no longer care for her. She was initially very frightened, but quickly found comfort and love outside the shelter, happily settling in for a peaceful car ride home. Wheezy is known for her gentle and well-behaved nature; she gets along wonderfully with both dogs and cats, is fully housebroken, and can be left home without worry of destructive behavior. Wheezy is up to date on her vaccinations, spayed, and microchipped. She has also had a dental cleaning to keep her healthy. Recently diagnosed with Cushing's disease, Wheezy receives daily medication—thanks to her rescue, the cost of this medication will be covered. She is now thriving and eager to bring joy to her next family. Wheezy is searching for a second chance at happiness in a loving household. Start your journey together! Apply now.
