Wheezy
AvailableWheezy is a small, senior, spayed female Corgi/Chihuahua mix currently in Chester, NJ. She is house trained, vaccinated, and has had dental work completed. While she has Cushing disease, it is being treated effectively with daily medication.
About Wheezy
At 9 years old and weighing about 16 pounds, Wheezy lost her home when her previous owner became ill, and she found the shelter pretty overwhelming at first. Once in foster care, she was happy to relax and settled in for the ride to her new safe spot. Wheezy gets along well with both dogs and cats and is easy to live with—she can be left home without any worry of destructive habits. The best news: she is housebroken and well-behaved indoors, making her a solid companion for someone wanting a low-maintenance friend. Wheezy is spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, and recently had a dental procedure that included having some teeth removed. She has also been diagnosed with Cushing disease, but she’s responding well to daily medication, and the rescue will continue to cover these medical expenses. Despite her challenges, she’s resilient and affectionate, and she’ll make a wonderful companion for a lucky family looking to give her that second chance. They are ready to love you; are you ready to apply?
