About Tawni
Meet Tawni, a chocolate tabby with a beautiful swirl pattern and a bobbed tail. Her striking green eyes catch the light, but she’ll often be hiding her face at first—Tawni is shy until she feels safe. Once she's settled, she gets along with just about everyone. Tawni is independent and likes her own space; she isn’t likely to curl up in your lap, but she enjoys being around other cats and dogs. She mostly lounges and watches the world go by from a window perch. Tawni keeps her short coat spotless and has even been known to groom the other cats she lives with. Tawni survived a rough start in a hoarding situation and is ready for a quiet, patient home. She’ll thrive in a calm place without small children, with owners who appreciate a low-key, hands-off cat. If your household has pets needing a companion—or you want a mellow cat who enjoys simply being near—you’ll find Tawni fits right in. Click apply to start the adoption process.
