Meet Rex! Rex is a 3 year old German Shepard mix. Rex is an outgoing, smart, and energetic boy! Rex is looking for a family willing to help him with his obedience training so he can meet his full potential! Rex gets along with other dogs who match his size and strength. Rex can take a little to warm up to new people and would prefer an adult only home. He loves to go on walks, and would love a big yard to play in! The NAWS Dog Adoption Program operates as a rescue versus a shelter. We believe in matching the right dog with the appropriate family based on each specific dog or family's needs. To achieve this, we believe in spending the appropriate amount of time with each family to allow for enough interaction time with potential adopters. This cannot be achieved if people stop by unexpectedly to meet our dogs.
