About Citrus
This could be the start of something paw-some. Citrus is a resilient young mama who made her way from a high-volume shelter, braving incredible odds to care for her kittens. Initially fiercely protective after her traumatic journey, Citrus has blossomed with time, patience, and gentle care. She is very independent and prefers to be near her humans but isn’t one for constant cuddles. If you’re seeking a cat who enjoys sharing your space without always demanding your attention, Citrus is a wonderful match. While she likes being held and having her chin scratched, she isn’t fond of having her back or tail petted. Citrus gets along well with dogs and other cats but has an alpha personality and would also thrive as an only pet. Playful, intelligent, and always on the lookout for a cozy basket or a sunny spot to lounge in, she has a bold personality and knows exactly what she likes. Citrus would be happiest in a home without children and needs someone who respects her independence and provides the sense of security she deserves. All NAWS cats, including Citrus, are spayed or neutered, microchipped, and up to date on vaccines. They are ready to love you; are you ready to apply?
