Meet Lunar! Lunar is a 1.5 year old lab/husky mix. She came to us from a high kill shelter to avoid euthanasia. Lunar is a fun spunky gal that loves to play and has some energy to her. She loves to go on walks and adventures with our stuff and volunteers. Lunar gets along with other dogs, but it’s not the biggest fan of cats. She would do best with older children as she is larger and still working on her manners. She would love to meet you! The NAWS Dog Adoption Program operates as a rescue versus a shelter. We believe in matching the right dog with the appropriate family based on each specific dog or family's needs. To achieve this, we believe in spending the appropriate amount of time with each family to allow for enough interaction time with potential adopters. This cannot be achieved if people stop by unexpectedly to meet our dogs.
