About Nova Lee
Nova Lee is a clever, energetic Boxer/Terrier mix who’s put in the work to become a standout companion. Her foster mom has dedicated time teaching Nova to “stay,” and the effort has paid off—she’s no longer a door bolter and now responds well to direction. Nova Lee loves fetch, brisk walks, squirrel patrol, and romping in the yard. She needs a securely fenced backyard and an active home to keep her busy. Nova Lee enjoys the company of people, but she does not get along with other dogs or cats and needs to be the only animal in the household. Fully housebroken, Nova Lee will let you know when she needs to go outside. She’s learned good indoor manners and will happily hold down the couch until you return. She’s working on her leash skills and can get excited pulling at first, but is making progress. Nova adores carrying a favorite slipper to bed like a comfort toy and is always up for a playful round of tug—complete with joyful growls. Given her energy and play style, she’s best suited to homes with teenagers 15 or older. An adopter must be ready to continue her professional training, which will be provided at no extra cost, to help Nova transition and maintain her progress. Nova, born under the practical sign of Aries, is eager to find her place as the center of someone’s world. Ready to meet your new best friend? Apply now!
