About Lita & Ford

Lita and Ford are a bonded pair of Saint Bernard mix sisters, each about five years old, who were raised on a ranch and excel as guardians of livestock. For years, they watched over pigs and mini horses, keeping intruders at bay. After their owner's passing, a local rescue hoped they could continue that work at a sanctuary, but it’s clear they have strong instincts to exclude other dogs and cats. They are excellent with livestock and people, never showing aggression toward humans, pigs, or horses, but they cannot safely be around other dogs or cats. These two are happiest when they have space to roam and a real job to do. They’re about 100 pounds apiece, spayed, and current on vaccinations. They need a property with secure fencing, no other dogs or cats, and an owner who can keep them together. They’re reliable protectors for a ranch and thrive in wide open spaces. Transport is available within Texas and possibly further. If you have livestock that needs safeguarding and a place with room to run, these sisters could be exactly the protectors you’re looking for. Let’s make it official, apply to adopt!
