When she was just a tiny kitten, Diana faced unimaginable hardships. She was rescued at a mere four weeks old and was brought to Monroe SPCA under desperate circumstances. Can you imagine? Her tail was in such a terrible state, we’re talking extreme damage that quite a few furry friends would never overcome! 😢 After being cared for by our dedicated volunteers, who worked tirelessly to remove hundreds of maggots (yes, you read that right! 🐛), Diana began her journey of healing. Not only did she undergo multiple baths and treatments, but eventually, her tail had to be surgically shortened to help her recover. And guess what? She’s emerged from this ordeal like the champion she is! Today, the only reminder of her past is her adorable little hairless nub—a badge of her incredible strength! ✊🏼 Now, Diana is seeking her forever home, one where she can bask in all the love and comfort she so deserves. She's looking for a peaceful indoor setting that matches her calm, mid-energy personality. A home without active young children (no kiddos under six, please!) would be ideal. But hold up!
